Short Tropical Dressing Gown
Wrap yourself in the mystery of tropical flora every morning, or wear this luscious piece as a wrap dress. Anytime is a good time to wrap your skin in satin. Two full layers of satin wrap across the front for full coverage. Extra-long belt can be tied in the front or in the back. Bias-cut, ¾ length flutter sleeves gracefully flow with your movements.
This is the perfect garment to showcase the incredible print inspired by the flora of Central American, hand drawn by Esther Garcia of Butterfat studios for Department of Curiosities. The premium satin for this robe was woven and printed in the Lake Como region of Italy, and designed, cut and sewn in our Chicago workshop.
Our dressing gowns are hand crafted to order following a slow fashion model. This means that each piece is made with the utmost care and attention; each pattern piece is placed and cut individually making every robe unique.
